Joseph A. Sklenar Editorial Award
An award is presented each fall in memory of the late publisher of the independent free paper in Audubon, Iowa and Past IFPA President, 1984-85, Joseph A. Sklenar. The Sklenar Editorial Award recognizes a publisher or writer who exhibits courage and concern for community issues through editorials that take a stand on issues in keeping with the courage and frankness of Mr. Sklenar. All editorial entries for the IFPA Ad and Editorial awards are considered for the award.
