TIP Magazine-The Independent Publisher
IFPA members and associate members receive T.I.P., a monthly trade magazine. Beside news of IFPA events, T.I.P is loaded with timely news stories for free paper publishers.
Bob Wright Memorial Scholarships
Scholarships to colleges or technical schools for study in fields related to free papers are available for member's children, employees, and employees' children. Number and amount of annual scholarships is dependent on performance of the scholarship endowment fund.
Internships
Each year IFPA awards $2000 to five member papers for internships. Publishers have an opportunity to work with prospective employees. College interns investigate a free paper career and get paid at the same time.

In addition to the benefits listed above, for their $100 annual dues members receive a membership plaque, press passes, print ready logos, annual 3-minute Idea Exchange booklet, annual advertising and editorial award winner tabloid.
